Locations, Casting the artist and props

For the location, i wanted to have somewhere that was homely and decided my house would be ideal as i am familiar with it and can do certain actions that feel normal, improving the performance of the music video.

As for the location for the artist shots, i decided to use a nearby park as the open air and clear skies reinforce the messages behind the song. in addition to this, the sun setting in the afternoon when this was shot proved to be very beneficial for the music video as elements are enhanced by the setting sun.

For my artist i chose to use my friend Cabishan as he fits the target demographic and knows how to play the guitar which adds to the music video as scenes such as the guitar solo will benefit immensely as he is experienced. His attire fits well for my idea of the artist as he is very presentable and also photogenic.

The props include the artist's guitar, typical household items available such as a toothbrush, plate, bread and other items.

For the clothing, the performers change in clothes is a key indicator for the shift to the dream and reality as during the reality, he wears jeans with a black top to further symbolise the day being dull and miserable. This changes in the dream world as he changes to a white top which signifies there being hope that the day will be bright and fun.
